In recent years, with the maturation of reverse osmosis membrane technology and domestic high-flow axial piston technology, especially the development of energy recovery devices, the cost of seawater desalination has been reduced, driving the widespread promotion and application of large and medium-sized seawater desalination systems. However, the development of small-sized desalination units has been slow, mainly constrained by small high-pressure pumps—low mechanical efficiency, poor performance—and the fact that such small axial piston pumps have always relied on imports at relatively high prices. Coupled with the lack of matching energy recovery devices, this has increased the cost of desalination (approximately three times that of large-scale systems), hindering the development of small desalination units.
To address the above issues, our company has launched a dedicated project to develop small desalination units along with matching small high-pressure axial piston pumps and energy recovery pumps, thereby reducing the energy consumption and cost of small desalination systems. These products fill a domestic gap and have broad market prospects.

Marine (Small) Seawater Desalination Unit
The miniaturized high-pressure axial piston pump and integrated energy recovery device independently developed for this project feature a compact structure, fewer external pipelines, good sealing performance, and reduced operating costs for small desalination systems. The combined three-way valve technology enables efficient and precise switching, ensuring smooth connection between the desalination water intake/outlet paths and the energy recovery path. The integrated device allows convenient installation of the entire system, occupies little space, and is easy to operate, maintain and manage. The intuitive and user-friendly interface greatly facilitates human-machine interaction and enhances practicality.
